The Lower Lands are fairly empty and are home to the feared Shaman Clan known as Night's Shadow.
A once vibrant town, filled with miners. However, the Gold Mine has been shut down and relatively dry since several years before the war has started. The Mine has become a source of strange, dark energy. Some consider it haunted.
Web Wood Forest:
Once the source of great Fay energy, the Web Wood Forest has always been home to a large amount of spiders along with other bugs. Aside from bugs, the Forest has been home to a large amount of Undead for a number of years and the deadly Night's Shadow Clan. Although the haven't been very active recently, the Night's Shadow Clan used to be feared by all within Drachell and the surrounding provinces.
One of the first areas that the Empire begin its work within, the Crovinale Gold Mine has been vacant now for several years due to the malady that struck within Crovinale. It's hard to say if anyone is keeping tabs on the Gold Mine now, but the Empire seems content with having its workers up and quit. They themselves have not attempted to return to the Gold Mine at all, despite it being far from void of resources. Perhaps the Empire is aware of something else within the Mine that they would rather not deal with?
Once the most populated settlement within Drachell, strictly due to the lodging provided to the people that worked within the Gold Mine for the Empire. However, since a strange Malady rolled through the town, many of Drachell's inhabitants are afraid to return to work there, leaving the mines entirely vacant. It isn't truly known where this strange Malady came from, but none of the towns current inhabitants will trust anyone or anything that passes through town unless it bears an Imperial insignia.
Towering high over the small island on which it resides on, Susanoo's Perch is the largest building within the province. This tower was built by the Haunting Night Clan as a tribute to Susanoo and is still said to be maintained by them, despite no one seeing them for several hundred years. This tower remains home to Susanoo's Crystal despite appearing to have no followers present within its walls.
This small Island Cave is home to Susanoo's Perch and also the otherworldly guardian that is in the employ of Susanoo himself. Merth, a Doomvoid Demon, is said to be inhabiting massive bones that, unless moved in some way, are entirely unpassable. Needless to say, there have been no visitors through this cave since Merth has taken up residence.
The Lower Lands are not the nicest of places within Drachell. Home to one main town, one Elemental Lord Shrine, one Beastmen Tribe stronghold and a very strange Mausoleum. The town here, Crovinale, was struck with a strange malady a handful of years ago that wiped out a large portion of its population. No one knows the cause.

Although the floor of the wooded area is lush with strange vines, the trees bear no leafs. This is due to the large population of spiders within the forest for almost its entire existence. This area is home to the Night's Shadow Clan who are typically feared by the humans and other such mortals. They are nicknamed 'Vampyr' as the only way they can truly sate their hunger is by eating a soul. Caution should be taken if you wish to enter this area.
A strange build rests at the one of the southern most points in Drachell. The origin of this building is unknown but it is rumored to belong to the Haunting Night Clan but due to the Clan's disappearance, no one knows for sure. Anyone who wishes to access this building with be promptly turned away by the magicked door and the unpickable lock.
